Landfall Tax
Services

What we do, one thing at a time

Four services. Each one done carefully, explained plainly, and priced in writing before we start.

Individual tax preparation

Your federal and state returns, prepared carefully from your documents — W-2s, 1099s, deductions, credits, the whole stack. We file on time, and we walk you through what everything means before you sign. The IRS tracks the filing deadline each year; we make sure you never meet it at the last minute.

  • Document checklist so you know exactly what to gather
  • Plain-English review of your return before filing
  • E-file confirmation in hand when we're done

Small-business prep & bookkeeping coordination

For sole proprietors and small businesses: we coordinate with your bookkeeping so your books and your return tell the same story — then prepare the business and personal pieces together. The IRS's small business center is the public starting point; we handle the heavy lifting from there.

  • Books-to-return reconciliation
  • Home office, vehicle, and expense review
  • Quarterly check-ins so nothing piles up

Quarterly estimate planning

If you're self-employed or have income without withholding, the IRS expects you to pay estimated tax quarterly. We calculate what you owe each quarter and set up a simple rhythm, so April is a formality instead of a panic.

  • Quarterly payment calculations
  • Income-change adjustments through the year
  • Penalty-avoidance planning, explained plainly

IRS notice help

Got a letter from the IRS? Don't panic — and don't ignore it. We'll help you read it, gather what it asks for, and draft a clear response. The IRS explains how to understand your notice; we translate it into your next step.

  • Notice review and plain-English translation
  • Document gathering and organization
  • Response drafting and filing guidance
Not a CPA firm

Honest about what we aren't

Landfall Tax is not a CPA firm or law firm. We prepare and plan — and we're upfront when a situation needs a licensed CPA or tax attorney. If that's you, we'll tell you, and we'll help you understand what to ask them.
